about

In a very distant future, an alien being named Anorphis is tasked, by the planetary council of his planet Quasiplex, with traveling to and surveying a lush, human-less planet Earth. With strange abilities such as telepathy and remote viewing at his disposal (biological enhancements that are common on Quasiplex), Anorphis slowly discovers humanity's bizarre past, reliving multiple cataclysmic events within his mind, and discovering ancient artifacts that hold sacred knowledge pertaining to convergent paths of consciousness that his species also underwent at some point in their history.

This album was made using a partially improvised medium; segments of instrumentation were recorded separately and then compiled and reorganised later. All sounds were recorded naturally with a Nokia Lumina phone mic. The mysteries of space, chamber music, jazz, and the duality of chaos/organization within nature, were large inspirations for this release. Alien communication/speech is represented by a mix of vuvuzela, abstract tooth/lip vocalizations, and acoustic guitar.

Free download/purchase of the album includes two bonus pieces of original artwork
