Inside the Krozo cyber-chambers of the Irliik underwater caves, a colony of Krin (aquatic humanoids) decide to encode a hyperdynamic railway system for their ceremony into the holy land of Dis. Complete with pyramidal energy structures that each conduct a biological interface for Krin to upload their souls onto a deep sea mainframe, its vast enough in scale that it acts as a 'playground' for them to share thoughts and travel endlessly in a sea of information. One Krin named Nxeiff from the scientific council is called upon to enter the subterranean library of Dis to extract information for a secret dream revolver cannon, a new Krinian tool for consciousness extraction during sleep cycles.
